The book analyses the work and approach of graphic designer Hans Neuburg. From the texts – written by the designer in different publications such as “Neue Grafik”, “NZZ”, and “Industriegrafik” – to the deconstruction of his work in his fields of expertise – posters, leaflets and logo design – which constitutes the chapters. Each starts with an overview page and is followed by a detailed analysis of the graphic components (typography, colors, grey tones, shapes, images, etc.). His texts and correspondence displayed in the beginning of the book, offer insights into his philosophy and position.
