Atlas of Neologism

The project explores the last 60 years of newly coined words that have been added to the English language. From the word Junk Food (1960) to the word Tender-Age Shelter (2018), we see how the world has evolved technologically and culturally through the years. In the first chapter, it goes into depth regarding each word, specifically their definition, their origin etc. In the second chapter, a modern comparison of these words is made by using digital platforms, like Google and Instagram. By making this comparison, we can notice the difference between the words’ past and present usage.
